Different Types of Flags

A flag is a piece of colored cloth with one side tied to a stake and poles. The basic aim is to identify a flag or signal devices. Today, flags are used for messaging, advertising and decorative purposes, although there is no scientific difference between a flag and a simple cloth banner. Depending on the use of flags in a particular place, it can be different interpretations of flags.
Different interpretations of Flags are:

Sports Flags In the American and Canadian football, referees flags to indicate an error was made in the game. In auto and motorcycle racing, flags are used to communicate with drivers. The most famous use of abuse in the sport is a checkered flag of black and white that marks the end of the race.

Railway Flags

A red flag means stop. A yellow flag indicates proceed with care. If a green or white or a blue flag is hoisted points go. In case of emergency a flag of any color, if you point out, stop waving vigorously. A blue flag on the page indicates that a locomotive is currently in progress and therefore it should not be removed. A blue flag on a track indicates that nothing should be removed or placed on the track. Only the person or group that placed the flag has a right to remove it. Since

flags are not visible during the night, lanterns of same color are used as a substitute.
