Question by Ask-a-lot: Flags on Florida Beach- What do the different colors mean?
On the FL beaches there are flags to tell the swimmers, whether or not to swim and the water conditions. Who knows what’s all the different colors in the Broward County area, or a good site that can tell me? Thank you!

Green- normal
Yellow- caution
Red- don’t go in the water
Double Red – beach closed
Purple- sea pests (sea lice, jellyfish, etc.)
