Question by Andrei: How do the single color flags get their meaning?
As I do not understand why the pure color flags have meaning. How, why not the white flag means surrender, Black Flag mean anarchy, and red flag means socialism? If there is more pure colored flags Apart from these? If so, what they are and what they mean? How did they lose their meaning?

Each one of those flags got their meaning in its own way. The black flag of anarchy, for instance, is a symbol for the absence of a flag, and therefore, the absence of a state.

Oh, and yes, another example. The flag of Lybia is pure green, which is the traditional color of Islam.
