Question by Joanne: What is proper flag folding etiquette for a school Vets Day assembly?
I am a part of the school Veterans Day assembly committee. We want to demonstrate folding of the flag at the meeting, but are not sure if it is against protocol for civilian youth, fold the flag. We also plan to invite veterans from DAV to the Assembly. We hesitate, they fold the flag, but we can ask whether we have to. Is it OK to fold the flag as long as we are respectful?

As far as I know, there is no age restriction. Be sure the flag NEVER touches the ground though.
